The 2017 F-150 Makes Simplifies Hauling Cargo

If you drive a pickup, you'll probably end up using it to haul cargo at some point. That's the whole point of a pickup, right? Well, hauling with a truck isn't the same as it was a couple decades ago. Modern trucks come packed with options to make loading up the bed easier, and Ford's 2017 F-150 is at the head of the pack.

First and foremost, the F-150 leads its class in hauling with a maximum 3,270-pound payload. But it doesn't stop there.

Deployable side steps make it easier to get items up and over the pickup bed, while an integrated tailgate step helps you get up into the bed yourself. If you're moving heavy objects into the bed, you can bring out the stow-able loading ramps. You can also divide the bed into sections for different cargo types with moveable dividers.

These available features make the 2017 F-150  a serious contender among full-size pickups. There's more to see, too. You can test out the F-150's other features at Santa Monica Ford Lincoln.
