My experience at SM Ford was absolutely GREAT!
I went the other day to get my car serviced and the service advisor that helped me was MARIO REA.
I
highly recommend anyone asks for him in service, he was polite and
courteous and really helped me understand what my car needed and why.
I didn't feel like I was being ripped off like I do at other shops
I am a very satisfied customer thanks to Mario and the service department

Last time I purchased a car was - no exaggeration - one of the worst
experiences of my life. So I was relieved to find a solid and
straightforward dealership that focused on providing great customer
service. I found a beautiful used car on their lot and worked with
Terry Kovac on the sale. Attentive, responsible, and kind, Terry didn't
pressure me to "buy now" and gave me space to make a decision.
Throughout
the negotiation process, the dealership was fair and firm on each piece
we discussed. After the paperwork was complete, Terry sent me to Wade
Stevenson to get the car detailed. Wade is also great. He really takes
pride in doing a good job for his customers.
All in all, a
nice experience. I'm relieved, not only that I have a new (used) car,
but that my car is in good hands should I have any questions or need
service in the future.

The last time we bought a car was at one of those epic super lots and
had a horrible experience. This time my wife and I decided to go to a
local dealership and it was the best experience we had buying a car!!!
Frank Cook was who greeted us and he did an amazing job at matching all
of our requirements and requests. The calmest, friendliest and most
honest salesman that I've ever dealt with!!! Next time you're looking
to buy a car, don't get took ask for "Cook"!

he got it damaged. they were sooo nice and helped me out tremendously.
the car came back looking brand new :] may have been overcharged? i have
no clue oh well i didn't have to pay for it. but they were so nice and
helpful. Henry was a geniune, honest man.
Shane 9/14/2011This is for the parts guys....who I got some seat belt extenders for my patrol car....Thank you!
AR 6/4/2011They have fixed my car twice this year (its been a rough year lol). And
both times they have done an excellent job with great service, and have
given me great deals! Their quote to fix my car was nearly half the
price of what other collision center's were offering! i'll definitely
take my car there again when needed (hopefully not soon :).
Angela 4/15/2011I have been on a hot search for wiper blades for my 1985 Lincoln Continental for almost two years.
As a general policy, I avoid car dealerships lfor the price-inflated corporate greedsters that they are reputed to be.
But I was desperate. There I was. There was El Prez (as I call my rare street machine). And there was Santa Monica Ford.
Everyone -- and I mean EVERYONE -- there was flawlessly courteous and helpful above and beyond.
A
salesman escorted me to the parts division. I landed at the "mechanics
only" area, but instead of a condescending chiding from the busy, macho
crew for my blonde moment, we all had a good laugh and no less than
three employees directed me through the byzantine to customer parts.
Once
there, not one but TWO parts specialists spent a long time making phone
calls to locate the blades and examining the wiper system on El Prez to
figure out an alternative to the extinct part.
For one of them,
it was only his first week, but he handled this surprisingly complicated
project like he was the long-time manager -- even when, after ordering
the blades, the warehouse messengered blades that were correct for the
car, but incorrect for El Prez. Apologetic and perplexed, he looked into
the matter and ordered another pair. Another set arrived quickly,
different from the previous, but still not compatible with El Prez.
Another
parts specialist made numerous calls to investigate why that part
number, listed as correct for the '85 Lincoln, was incorrect for El
Prez.
We looked at how the blades were supposed to connect and
discussed conversion possibilities. (So far, there aren't any.) But he
took the time and applied his expertise to a $20 car part.
Though I departed sans wiper blades, he's still hunting for them and will call me if and when he can locate them.
Owning
two classic cars, I spend too much time with mechanics and parts
personnel. I know who's who and what's what. Viva la difference. Santa
Monica Ford is a class act.

I leased my 2011 Ford Fusion through DEAN - the crazy Brit, but the guy
who knows the most information about every single car there. I recently
moved to LA and he really went above and beyond what I expected from a
car salesman. He already had an offer for me before I even got out
here. He picked me up from my new apartment the day of the sale (I live
all the way over in Studio City) and gave me all of the necessary
information I needed to know about my new car.
He stayed in touch
long after the sale was over and he still says if I needed any advice
about my new home or car, feel free to send him an email or give him a
call.
Seriously people -- if you're going to buy a new (or used) car from this place, go through Dean.
