Ford forges a sustainable future by engineering plastics out of carbon emissions

Alright geeks, strap on those lab goggles, because we're about to talk about some exciting new developments in chemistry coming out of Ford's engineering department today. This morning, Ford announced that it would be using a new engineering process to manufacture some of the plastic and foam pieces of its vehicles, and here's the kicker. These pieces are going to be made of up to fifty percent CO2-based polyols, a compound made from greenhouse gases.
